Caroline Duvoe is an Abstract Expressionist artist who has been painting and selling her work for the past 20 years. Caroline also has a degree in Accounting from University of South Florida and an MBA from University of Tampa. When the downturn in the economy in 2009, Caroline got laid off from her executive consulting job at IBM. At this point Caroline took a year's sabbatical to search for a new direction in her life, helping people, not corporations. She went back to school at Eckerd College to seek a degree in Human Development. As part of her degree requirements, Caroline completed an internship at PARC, a non-profit organization that helps developmentally disabled children and adults lead a fuller life. After working at PARC for nine months teaching abstract painting to PARC adult clients, she knew she had found her niche. Upon graduation Caroline sought a position teaching Abstract Painting to Neuro-diverse kids. She found the perfect fit at LIFT Academy, where she has been for the past two years. In addition to teaching classes and hosting the school's art club, Caroline holds monthly Art Openings at her studio in Gulfport, Florida, to display and sale her student's work. When a student sells a painting they get half of the money and school's art supply fund gets the rest.
