I graduated from Tufts University with a bachelor’s in International Relations. Soon after, I attended St John’s University School of Law and graduated with a Juris Doctorate and an LLM in bankruptcy law. After law school, I worked as an attorney at a personal injury law firm, then I clerked for two federal bankruptcy judges in New York. Some time after completing the clerkships, I decided to move to Florida for family and personal reasons. I worked for a white collar, commercial litigation law firm for several years and then, more recently, as a substitute teacher and English and writing tutor. I decided I wanted to work for an important cause and I am now working as a part-time grant writer at LiFT Academy and LiFT University helping with identifying and securing grants. I am married with a 7 year old daughter.
