I am the oldest of four children and was raised in Rutherford, New Jersey. We moved to Florida when I was 13 years old and I attended Seminole High School. I attended Florida State University and received my Master’s degree in Learning Disabilities, Emotional Disturbances, Varying Exceptionalities, and a Pre-K Handicapped endorsement. I’ve worked thirteen years in public school teaching elementary and pre-k students with disabilities. I also taught middle and high school students for six years at a private school. My family lives in St. Petersburg. My husband, Mike, and I attend St. Paul’s church. We have 2 children, Matt and Gina, both are young adults. Our dog, Sasha, is my shadow and we adore her! In my spare time I enjoy boating, traveling, reading, and spending time with my family. I’m a crossword and Sudoku puzzle fanatic. Working with young people is my passion! Starting LiFT with some terrific moms has been the highlight of my life so far and I look forward to what God has in store for LiFT and me!
